Sunday School is held each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. during the school year. It’s a time for the children to sing, work on craft projects, and learn wonderful stories from the Bible.
Wednesday After School Program is held from 3:40 to 5:00 each week during the school year. This is open to 1st through 6th graders and includes snacks, Bible stories, games, crafts, and more. Students from Hayden Heights Elementary School are especially welcome, but it is open to anyone.
Vacation Bible School is held during a week in late July or August each year.
Youth Canoe Trip takes place for one week each June or July.
INTERGENERATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Service Projects such as walking in the annual CROP Hunger Walk (the second Sunday of October), volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, serving at Second Harvest Foodshelf, or other organizations that work to alleviate poverty are scheduled at various times throughout the year.
Intergenerational Christmas Party is on the first Saturday of December each year and we gather in someone’s home to enjoy the spirit of the season, to eat together, to play games, and to sing favorite Christmas carols.
Outdoor Worship and Picnic is an annual event that is held on a Sunday in June at the Phalen Park amphitheater. We have often paired up for this worship service with another neighboring congregation and follow it with a potluck meal and games for the kids.
White Bear Avenue Parade is in July each year before the Ramsey County Fair and we have a great time walking or riding (this year we had a float) and sharing candy and flyers with our wonderful neighbors from across the East Side.
